Schenigma Live

Schenigma combines encrypted messages with a vault for credentials, notes and folders on your device. Free, with no ads, and available in English and Spanish with light and dark themes. MESSAGES WITHOUT HISTORY Write or paste text, enter a password and tap Encrypt. Copy or share the result through an app you choose. To read it, use the same password and tap Decrypt. Messaging works offline, and the app does not save its messages or passwords. Leaving its active screen or locking your phone clears the fields. YOUR LOCAL VAULT Store encrypted records and folders, search during a session and generate passwords. Encryption and decryption take place on your device. The app does not store the master password or recovery code. The vault locks when it leaves the foreground or the screen rotates; strict mode requires reauthentication to reveal or copy passwords. COPIES AND RECOVERY Export and import encrypted copies through Android's file picker. Manage saved versions and previous vaults, change the master password or rotate the encryption key. You can enable recovery with a code that you must keep outside the app and confirm by entering it in full. Without a valid credential for a copy, Schenigma cannot recover its contents. Deleting an entry does not remove it from versions or exports; older copies retain their previous credentials. Keep your copies and codes somewhere safe. OPTIONAL GOOGLE DRIVE Local use needs no account or connection. If you choose to synchronize, authorize Google Drive: Schenigma requests access only to its own application data (appDataFolder), not all your files. It sends encrypted copies, never the master password, recovery code or plaintext contents. Google receives transport metadata. Google authorization does not unlock the vault. Synchronize between devices and review conflicts to resolve them explicitly. Disconnecting or revoking access does not delete remote copies. Other devices may publish further copies. CLIPBOARD AND LIMITS Messaging copies remain on the clipboard. The vault attempts to clear its copies after 30 seconds if they still match, the process remains running and Android allows access; this is not a guarantee after the app closes. Android, keyboards and other apps may keep their own copies. Use strong passwords and share a message password through a different channel. Requires Android 10 or later. Contact: [email protected]
