Grab a kayak and get on the water. Schack's Yaks operates unattended, self-serve kayak rentals at 7 river access points across Northern Kentucky and the Cincinnati area — no reservations, no front desk, no waiting around. HOW IT WORKS 1. Find a Schack's Yaks kayak at any of our launch locations. 2. Open the app and scan the QR code on the AXA smart lock. 3. Pay securely with your card (powered by Stripe). 4. The lock opens automatically over Bluetooth. 5. Paddle for as long as you want — minimum 1 hour. 6. When you're done, re-lock the kayak and tap "End Rental" in the app. PRICING $15.90 per hour, billed to the minute after your first hour. Pay only for the time you're on the water.
