Full description

What returns in your journal, and what would you like to work on? Scales of the Soul is a private Cheshbon Nefesh tool inspired by Mesilat Yesharim. Record good moments and moments that need repair, return to your own examples, and choose a practical next step. ONE MIDDAH OVER TIME • Choose a middah for a period, from your journal or a personal choice. • Add an optional intention and small commitment, and keep them in view each day. • Return for a weekly reflection with the relevant Good and Needs Repair entries. • Write what you noticed, what helped, and what to take into the coming week. • Read previous periods and edit their saved weekly reflections. THE ENTRIES BEHIND THE COUNTS • See which middot and factors recur in what you recorded. • Open the entries behind the numbers. • Complete a Daily Review and keep one small commitment visible. • Counts describe recorded tags. They are not a soul score and do not prove improvement or decline. PRIVATE AND ENCRYPTED • Entries are encrypted on your device before cloud sync. • Journal content and spiritual statistics are never sent to analytics. • Start without an account, or choose an account for encrypted sync. • Optional biometric lock and recovery backup are controlled by you in Settings. THE CORE STAYS FREE Capture, Daily Review, middah focus periods, weekly reflection, and your complete journal and reflection history are included. Optional Plus adds longer statistics ranges, comparisons, Daily Review search, extra reminders, and PDF or Word export. Google Play handles purchases and displays prices. Use Hebrew with full RTL layout, English, French, Russian, or Spanish. Scales of the Soul is a personal reflection tool. It does not provide religious rulings, mental-health treatment, or medical advice.

What's new

Choose one middah for a period and return for a weekly reflection with your own journal examples. Insights now show all recorded middot and factors, weekly frequency and the entries behind the counts. Daily Review drafts stay encrypted so you can continue later. We also simplified getting started and capture, and improved saving during sync.
