"I don't care"는 문법적으로 완벽한 문장입니다. 하지만 원어민 귀에는 "다 좋아!"가 아니라 "난 하나도 관심 없어"로 들릴 수 있습니다. 문제는 문법이 아니라 뉘앙스입니다. 단어도 문법도 맞는데, 내 영어가 상대에게 실제로 어떻게 들렸는지는 아무도 알려주지 않습니다. 교환학생으로 나가 외국인 룸메이트와 지내다 이유도 모르게 어색해진 경험이 있다면, 그 이유가 여기 있을지도 모릅니다.
