STROBE TUNER ACCURACY Most phone tuners round to the nearest cent or two. Savior Guitar Tuner detects pitch to 0.1 cent using a strobe-class engine that tracks the phase of the note between readings, not just a single snapshot. The rolling strobe bands slow down as you get close and freeze when you are dead in tune, so you can see a tenth of a cent of drift that a needle would hide.
