Save a plate

Save a Plate App is an innovative solution designed to reduce food waste while offering customers affordable and delicious meals. Every day, restaurants are left with perfectly good surplus food at closing time. Instead of throwing it away, they can create Surprise Bags containing a mix of their leftover items. These surprise bags are then listed on the Save a Plate App, giving users the chance to browse and book from nearby restaurants. With Save a Plate, users can discover hidden food treasures, enjoy a variety of meals at discounted prices, and contribute to a more sustainable future. After booking and paying for a surprise bag directly in the app, users simply visit the restaurant at the specified time to pick it up. The surprise element makes each experience exciting—users never know exactly what they’ll get, but it’s always fresh and delicious food saved from being wasted. Not only does this app help reduce environmental impact, but it also supports local businesses by turning food surplus into a win-win opportunity.
