Leeward: Quit Counter

Leeward counts the days since you quit — your days sober, clean, or free — and never punishes you for being human. Most quit counters work the same way: one slip and your count resets to zero. That little jolt of failure is often exactly what makes people give up on quitting. Leeward is built the opposite way. It's a calm, simple, shame-free counter for whatever you're leaving behind — drinking, smoking, vaping, weed, porn, gambling, sugar, doomscrolling — designed so that a slip is just a moment in your story, not the end of it. When you can't see your progress, it's easy to lose it. Leeward keeps the days you've earned in plain sight, so quietly quitting something actually sticks. Think of it as a quit tracker that only ever counts up. WHY LEEWARD IS DIFFERENT • A slip never wipes out your progress. You log the relapse, learn from it, and keep going. • No guilt, no red streaks, no "you failed" screens. Ever. • Not a habit tracker demanding daily check-ins. Just the days sober — or clean, or free — counting up, quietly on your side. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Start a counter for anything you've quit — drinking, smoking, vaping, weed, porn, gambling, sugar, or doomscrolling — one thing or many. • Watch the days since add up at a glance, and see your clean time grow. • Write a letter to your future self, waiting for you when a craving hits. • Log a slip without losing your history, and see your full journey, honestly. • See what you've saved by not spending on the thing you quit. • Add a free home screen widget to keep your day count in view. • Share a milestone card to celebrate your progress, free for everyone. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your data never leaves your phone. Leeward has no account, no login, and no server of ours. Everything you create, including your counters, dates, and your letter to your future self, is stored only on your device. We can't see any of it, and we never upload it. • No accounts, no email, no phone number required. • No analytics, no tracking, no ads. • Optional app lock with PIN or fingerprint/face unlock. • Export your own backup anytime, kept wherever you choose. FREE FOREVER Leeward is free — really free. The whole core is free, and always will be: the counter, your letter to your future self, slip logging, money saved, share cards, a home screen widget, and your local backup. No paywall on the things that matter. LEEWARD PLUS (OPTIONAL) Plus is only cosmetics and convenience, for when Leeward earns a place on your home screen: • Extra color themes, including a true-black dark mode. • Custom milestone days, so you can set your own targets to celebrate. • A multi-counter list widget to see everything you're tracking at once. • Your chosen color carried onto your share cards and widget. Plus is a simple way to support an independent app that stays generous with its free version. Leeward is a new app, made independently and shaped by the people who use it. Whether you're counting days sober, tracking your sobriety, staying off nicotine, or quitting anything else, it's here for the long haul: simple, private, and on your side. If there's something you'd love to see, tell us at [email protected]. We read every message and keep improving. Whatever you're leaving behind, start counting the days today.
