Full description
Pareto Chart — the classic "vital few" tool. Type your categories and their counts, and instantly get a Pareto chart: bars sorted tallest-first, a cumulative percentage line, and the 80% rule highlighting the handful of causes behind most of the problem. Find what to fix first, in seconds. Fully offline. The Pareto principle — the 80/20 rule — says that roughly 80% of effects come from 20% of causes. A few defect types cause most of the scrap; a few complaint reasons fill most of the inbox; a few tasks eat most of your time. A Pareto chart makes that visible: it ranks the categories, draws the running total, and shows you exactly where to focus. No sign-up. No internet needed. No data collected. Just clear, instant statistics. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Data — type each category and its count into a clean editor (add or remove rows with a tap). Everything recomputes as you type. • Pareto — see the bars sorted tallest-first, the magenta cumulative-percentage line climbing to 100%, and a dashed 80% line. The vital-few bars (those that reach 80% of the total) are highlighted, and the app tells you how many categories make up the vital few. • Concept — learn each bar's share of the whole, how the cumulative line builds, the 80% rule and where Pareto charts are used — with offline, beautifully typeset formulas that never overlap. • Simulate — slide a concentration dial from flat to concentrated with a + / - stepper and watch the chart change from "no vital few" to a textbook 80/20. • Examples — load real Pareto cases (defects, complaints, time-sinks and more) with one tap. WHAT YOU GET • Each category's percentage of the total. • A cumulative percentage line reaching 100%. • The vital few highlighted, with how many categories cover 80%. • A clean, sorted Pareto chart you can read at a glance. WHY YOU'LL LIKE IT • Find what to fix first — the chart points straight at the biggest causes. • See the 80/20 — the cumulative line and 80% mark make priorities obvious. • Fully offline — every bar, line and formula works with no connection. • Hands-on — type exact counts, or dial concentration with a + / - stepper. • Clean "Navy, Magenta & Gold" design, easy on the eyes. • Privacy-friendly — your data stays on your device. Whether you are running quality control, triaging customer complaints, prioritising a backlog, or just deciding where your effort will pay off most, Pareto Chart turns a list of counts into a clear plan in seconds. Download it, enter your categories, and find your vital few.
