The main tab captures ambient audio and runs the tempo through a wavelet decomposition and autocorrelation pipeline. The result updates four times a second on a 7-segment display with a moving needle gauge. Range 40 to 220 BPM. Tap tempo. Tap along with a track and the app averages the intervals to give a BPM read within four or five taps. Useful when the microphone can't hear the audio cleanly, or when you're working out a tempo from memory. Metronome. A mechanical-style click with a pendulum animation. Range 40 to 220 BPM, adjustable in one-BPM steps by tapping the plus and minus keys or holding for repeat. Low-latency audio so the click sits on the beat.
