Full description
300 cards. 21 days to go. Echo already knows what you should study today. Spaced repetition works, but it never ends. Echo is the flashcard app with a finish line: any date you choose, from a final to a trip. Give any goal a date. Echo does the math. Tell Echo your target date and how many cards you can handle per day. That's the Echo Plan, a study planner that works backward and hands you one clear number each day: "Today: 18 cards in 2 sessions (~9 each, ~14 min)." A forecast shows how much you're likely to remember by that date, and what to change if you're short. A plan that bends instead of breaking • Miss a few days? Echo spreads the overdue cards across the days you have left instead of dumping one giant pile on you, then welcomes you back with a short catch-up session. • Skip-a-days protect your streak when life gets in the way. Your first is free. • Memory slipping? Echo eases off new cards until what you've learned sticks, shows what that does to your finish date, and lets you choose: adjust the deadline or add new cards anyway. • Deadline not realistic? Echo says so up front and shows what to change. • No target date? Manage a deck yourself: you set the pace, Echo schedules every review. Know what you actually know Deck health shows Recall (how much you remember right now) and Stability (how much will still be there tomorrow). When a deck has enough well-learned cards, Echo opens a pass/fail test that never touches your review schedule. Want a no-pressure run? Practice upcoming cards without moving a single due date. A reminder that quizzes you Down to your last card? The reminder shows the question, and Reveal answer shows the answer. Streak warnings count the hours left, and every Sunday "Your week in Echo" sums up your cards, streak, and recall. Reminders stay short and kind: "Five minutes today is enough." Earn coins. Unlock real study tools. Streaks, deck milestones, and beating your own scores earn coins, and 21 badges mark the way. Spend coins, or make a small in-app purchase, on tools that change how you study: • Scribble pad: write your answer by hand, then reveal • Say your answer: speak it and see what Echo heard • Swipe to grade: right if you knew it, left if you didn't • Practice answer-first, or mix other decks into a practice session • Extra read-aloud voices, fonts and seasonal themes • Memory Match when a long session suggests a break Streaks also unlock free rewards: a night theme on day 2, a new font on day 3, a skip-a-day on day 5, and a seasonal theme on day 8. Flashcards that fit how you think Basic, cloze, and reverse cards with text, images, multiple audio clips, pen-and-marker drawings, and an optional third side for extra context. Pinch to zoom, size text per card, tag cards, and search them in the card browser. Read-aloud speaks each card in the deck's language, including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Hebrew, and Greek, using your phone's voices. From foot pedals to flip phones Echo fits phones, tablets and foldables, with a side rail and two-pane decks on big screens and a compact study layout on a Razr's outside screen. Hands busy? Run sessions from a Bluetooth keyboard, page turner, foot pedal, or game controller and map the keys yourself. Study offline anywhere. Bring your decks Import Anki decks (.apkg) with cloze cards, images and audio, or CSV files. Imported cards start fresh in Echo's scheduler. Free to study, fair to use The Echo Plan, spaced repetition (FSRS v6 or fixed intervals), tests and every card tool are free, with no deck or card limits. Echo PRO, an optional subscription, removes ads. No account needed, and your decks live on your phone. For languages, music, certifications, finals or anything with a date on it: give Echo the date and let tomorrow's you say thanks.
