Bubbles: Sourdough Starter

Bubbles is a sourdough starter tracker, rescue guide and bake planner in one app. It guides you from day 1 to your first baked loaf, and even has discard recipes so nothing goes to waste! Keeping a sourdough starter alive is easy until life gets in the way. Bubbles remembers the feedings, warns you before your starter is in trouble, and tells you exactly what to do when something looks wrong. TRACK FEEDINGS AND NEVER MISS ONE Set your feeding schedule once and get a reminder when your starter is due Full feeding history, so you can see how your starter is really doing Exact grams for discard and refresh — Loose, Standard, Stiff, or your own ratio Automatic hydration and baker's percentage maths, in grams or ounces Day-by-day instructions for growing a starter from scratch, including the quiet stretch where most people give up too early IS MY STARTER DEAD? PROBABLY NOT Rescue alerts warn you before a jar goes too long without a feed The health check reads your recent history and explains what is actually happening, so you stop guessing Guided rescue plans for a sluggish, hooch-covered or stalled starter Straight answers about the strange things a levain does — the smell, the liquid on top, the flat days A BAKE PLANNER THAT WORKS BACKWARDS Pick when you want fresh bread out of the oven. Bubbles builds the whole schedule in reverse — feed, mix, folds, bulk ferment, shape, proof, bake — with a reminder for every step. It lines up your starter to peak right at mix time and inserts a feeding if it needs one. Timers keep running when you close the app. 18 TESTED SOURDOUGH RECIPES From a first country loaf to focaccia, bagels, sandwich bread and pizza dough. Every recipe scales to your tin, warns you if your starter is not ready to bake, and walks you through each step.
