Full description
Salaaaaat does one thing. It shows you the five daily prayers, where you are in the day, and how long until the next one. That's it. Simple, clear and quiet: No audio adhan. No tasbih counter. No Islamic articles. No account. No onboarding. No notifications. You open it. It loads instantly. You see what you need. You close it. · Five prayers as five transitions of light. Fajr, first dawn light. Dhuhr, solar noon. Asr, afternoon. Maghrib, sunset. Isha, end of twilight. Each window tracked in real time. Live countdown to the next prayer. Passed prayers fade quietly. The active prayer breathes — a slow 5-second rhythm, one beat per prayer. Shurouq marks the end of the Fajr window, one long press away. Not in your face. · Zeitgeber, the circadian view. A full-day map of the solar cycle, from Fajr to Fajr. Six windows of light, color-coded, stacked vertically. A thin line moves in real time, showing exactly where you are now. Prayer times are not religious abstractions. They are Zeitgeber — environmental cues that synchronize your body to the rhythm of light. The same rhythm that governs every living thing on earth. · Qibla direction, no compass needed. A fixed arrow pointing toward the Kaaba, with the distance in km. South at the top of the dial, because for most users Mecca is to the south-east. Point your phone toward the sun. The dial aligns with reality. When the sun is up, a dotted line shows its azimuth — align it with any vertical shadow and the line points to the Kaaba. Same logic at night, using the moon. In direct sunlight, double-tap to invert the display. Black background, white dial. Easier to read outdoors. · Everything runs on-device. Install once. Works offline, anywhere in the world. No server for prayer times. No tracking. Nothing stored beyond your city preference. For Morocco, times follow the Ministry of Habous method, calibrated city by city. For everywhere else: 16 calculation methods covering every major region and school of thought. · Most prayer apps want to be your Islamic companion. Salaaaaat just tells you the time.
