This permission is used only to recognize the volume-button trigger input. SafePing does not read, log, or transmit any screen content. It works only after you manually enable SafePing in your device's Accessibility settings. ■ SMS Permission Notice SafePing uses the Send SMS (SEND_SMS) permission to automatically send a text message with a location link to your registered emergency contacts when you trigger SOS. This is a core feature that alerts your contacts even when you cannot speak or operate the screen during an emergency. A text is sent only when you trigger SOS.
