RUSERO Scout

RUSERO Scout is the field companion for RUSERO — the platform an African farm runs on, from working out what to plant to getting paid for it. Farm owners and their scouts use one app to catch problems early, plan with numbers instead of guesswork, keep the team accountable, and line up buyers before the harvest is picked. CATCH DISEASE WHILE THE CROP CAN STILL BE SAVED • Photograph a leaf and RUSERO names what is wrong with it, then tells you what to do about it. • Recognises dozens of diseases across the crops smallholders actually grow. • Keeps a scan history per plot, so you can see a problem building over weeks. ASK FIRIMONI, YOUR AGRONOMIST • Ask a question the way you would ask a neighbour and get an answer that knows your plots — what you planted, when, and what the last scan found. • Replies in your language, including Shona, Ndebele, Chichewa, isiZulu and Kiswahili. PLAN THE SEASON WITH NUMBERS • A written growing and watering plan for every plot: the stages ahead, water per week, what to feed it, and the risks to watch. • A weekly outlook per plot — the risk for the days ahead, an updated yield estimate, and a plain-language summary. • Yield and harvest-window prediction under poor, average, good and excellent conditions. • A planting calculator that starts from whatever you know — area, target tonnage, target revenue or plant count — and solves for the rest. • Succession planning so the harvest arrives in waves you can sell. • Soil-test tracking with lab results logged against the plot they came from. RUN THE FIELD AND THE TEAM • Farm maps: draw a plot boundary and RUSERO works out the area. • Reminders for spraying, watering, feeding and scouting — delivered on WhatsApp. • Sensor alerts and pump automation for plots with field devices. • A daily attendance register for casual and permanent workers. • Monthly payroll worked out from days on the register and a day rate, exportable to Excel. • A plot cost report you can hand to an accountant. SELL BEFORE YOU PICK • List a harvest from a plot's predicted yield with an early-bird price. • Buyers reserve now and pay on harvest — money never moves through RUSERO, you settle directly. • Quotes and invoices with a QR code per bin. • Traceability: harvest into lots, split into bins, give every bin a barcode. Scan it and the whole story comes back — which plot, what went on it, what the scans found, who bought it. BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Sign in with a phone number and PIN, or an email and password. • Optional Face ID / fingerprint unlock. • Works for two roles: farm owners see everything; scouts get a focused view for recording data in the field.
