Full description
RunSpan turns your Wear OS watch into an interval coach. A block ends on distance, time or your heart rate, whichever comes first, so "run until HR 160, walk until HR 120, repeat until I stop" is a workout you can actually build. Everything runs on the watch: no phone, no data connection, no account. BUILD ANY WORKOUT • Blocks that end on distance, time or a heart-rate threshold, whichever comes first • Repeats with a fixed count, or open-ended until you stop: run-walk, pyramids, sprints • Optional pace or heart-rate target bands with voice warnings • Warm-up and cool-down, water lock, always-on display, heart-rate zones Z1-Z5 • Free run: no program, just distance, time, pace and heart rate live on your wrist EASY TO READ WHILE YOU RUN • Your pace large and white, right under the countdown or the distance left • The screen stays on during a run; prefer to save battery? Switch it off in Settings • Big numbers always fit on one line, also on small round watches VOICE COACH • Spoken cues and vibrations at every transition, countdowns included • Alerts your way: vibration, sound or both, with normal, double or triple vibration strength • Plays nicely with your music: duck it, pause it, or chimes only • Music controls on the watch: play, pause, previous, next and volume, without leaving your run CREATE WHEREVER YOU LIKE • On the watch itself with the built-in builder • Or in the free web planner at runspan.app: describe your workout in plain language and we build it for you, then send it to your watch with a 4-character code • Open the planner on your phone straight from the watch TILE: START WITH ONE TAP • Add the RunSpan tile next to your watch face and the workout you ran last starts with a single tap, without opening the app AFTER YOUR RUN • Distance, time, average heart rate and completed blocks on your watch • Synced runs appear in the planner with route and heart rate; download GPX for Strava and other apps ALSO ON YOUR PHONE • No watch with you? RunSpan runs the same workouts on your Android phone: GPS, countdown, pace and voice cues, also with the screen off • One purchase covers watch and phone FAIR AND SIMPLE • One-time purchase: no subscription, no ads, no tracking • Runs standalone on the watch, no phone needed • 14 languages, chosen by you or following your watch; kilometres or miles Requires Wear OS 3 or newer (for example Galaxy Watch 4 and later, Pixel Watch, OnePlus Watch 2). GPS and heart-rate features use the sensors of your watch. The phone app needs Android 11 or newer.

What's new

New: Maximum mode (now the default) uses every sensor as often as it can, for the most precise pace and distance. Before the start you see whether your battery will last the workout, and every run teaches the app what your device uses, so that estimate keeps getting better. Pace is now also right when Google location does the measuring. Location turned off? We now explain how to turn it on.
