RSVP Reader flashes a book one word at a time in a fixed place on the screen, so your eyes stay still instead of travelling across lines. It works the same way on your phone and on your Wear OS watch — so a queue, a walk or a wait becomes reading time. On your phone • Import EPUB, PDF and plain text files, or share a file to RSVP Reader from any other app • The book is split into its chapters, with the cover kept for the library • One word at a time with the recognition point held in one spot, so nothing moves but the word • 100 to 1000 words per minute, with a longer pause on punctuation and on long words • Play, pause, restart the sentence, skip ahead, jump between chapters • Progress and minutes left for the chapter you are in • A library of covers, with a long press to delete a book On your watch • Read on the watch with no phone nearby and no connection needed • Turn the crown to change the reading speed while you read • Set the text size for that watch, independently of the phone • See the library as titles or as a shelf of covers • A "Keep reading" tile that opens the book you were last in Together • Books you import on the phone appear on the watch, and deleting on either side removes it on both • Your position and your reading speed follow you between the two Free words and the unlock Reading is free for the first 300,000 words, counted across the phone and the watch together — that is a couple of full-length novels. After that the reader stops until a single one-time purchase lifts the limit for good. There is no subscription, nothing expires, and only words you actually read count: leaving a book open costs nothing. No account, no ads, no tracking There is no sign-in and nothing is collected. Your books, your position and your settings stay in the app's private storage on your own devices, and the only thing that leaves them is the copy of a book sent to your own watch.
