Care4U - Remote Device Control

**Care4u — Help your family find and care for their phones** Misplaced a phone on silent? Left it somewhere? Care4u lets you and the people you trust help each other in seconds — just by phone number. Care4u works **both ways**: every phone with the app can send a command and receive one. Pair with a family member or friend using their phone number (verified by a one-time code), and you can help each other when a phone goes missing or won't stop ringing. **✨ Key Features** - 🔔 **Ring** — make a phone left on silent ring out loud. - 🔊 **Max Ring** — force maximum volume to find it anywhere. - 📳 **Vibrate** — buzz it quietly. - 🔕 **Silent** — quiet a phone ringing in a meeting. - 📍 **Locate** — get a one-time location on a map to find a lost phone. - 🔒 **Lock** — lock the screen of an unattended phone. - 🛡️ **Internet Lock (Android)** — a parent or guardian can temporarily restrict internet access on a family device configured for parental control, or restrict selected apps, until the restriction is reset. - ✅ **Acknowledgements** — see whether each command worked. - 👨‍👩‍👧 **Contacts-only mode** — accept commands only from your saved contacts. **Internet Lock and Android VPN service** Care4u uses Android's VpnService only for the optional Internet Lock parental-control feature. When a parent or guardian enables Internet Lock on a family device configured for parental control, Care4u creates a local VPN interface on that device and discards traffic covered by the selected restriction. This prevents the restricted device or selected apps from reaching the internet until the parent or guardian resets the restriction. Care4u is not a general VPN service: it does not provide private browsing, bypass geographic restrictions, route traffic to a remote VPN server, sell or monetize traffic, or collect browsing traffic through this feature. **💙 Benefits** - No more "I can't find my phone because it's on silent." - Help elderly parents or kids who misplace their device. - One simple app — no separate "tracker" and "target" setup. - Privacy first: location is **one-time and on-demand**, never continuous tracking. - No SMS reading, no data wiping, no password changes — Care4u deliberately keeps it safe. **🔒 Why Care4u respects your privacy** - You verify your number with a one-time code. - A receiving phone can be set to obey **only its own contacts**. - Phone numbers are masked in our logs. - Commands are delivered securely through Firebase and our backend. **📲 Why install Care4u** If your family shares the everyday problem of misplaced or wrongly-silenced phones, Care4u turns any trusted contact into instant help. Set it up once, grant the permissions for the features you want, and you're covered. **👉 Install Care4u today and never lose track of a family phone again.** *Care4u requires permissions (location, notifications, Do-Not-Disturb access, optional Device Admin for lock, and Android VPN access for the optional Internet Lock parental-control feature) only for the features you choose to use. All remote actions require the receiving phone to have Care4u installed and set up with consent.*
