RouteRune is a private ride journal for people who love the going, not the leaderboard. Tap record, put your phone away and ride. RouteRune tracks your route in the background and pauses itself when you stop, so a coffee break never drags down your average speed. When you're done, the ride saves itself: no review screen, no upload, no waiting. And if your phone closes the app mid-ride, the ride is recovered up to that point the next time you open it.
