Rope of Prayer

Rope of Prayer is a faith-neutral virtual prayer rope and meditation tool. It brings a centuries-old prayer rope tradition into the digital age, keeping the experience personal, private, and free of distractions. On first launch you choose your tradition — Orthodox chotki (33 beads, Jesus Prayer) or Catholic rosary (59 beads, Hail Mary) — and you can switch later from settings. Navigate the rope by swipe, tap, or volume buttons — even when the screen is off. Each bead is unique: a small knot that remembers where you are, while haptic feedback gives a tactile sense in your fingers. FEATURES - Two traditions — Orthodox 33 beads or Catholic 59-bead rosary - Every bead visually unique - Haptic feedback on every bead, stronger on marker beads - Volume buttons for navigation — practice with the screen completely dark - Prayer text fully customisable - Multiple sequences: Jesus Prayer, Beatitudes, Psalm 23, Psalm 51, and the Joyful, Sorrowful, Glorious, and Luminous Mysteries - Adjustable brightness and theme - English and Finnish - Fully offline — everything stays on your device PRIVACY Rope of Prayer does not collect, transmit, or store anything in the cloud. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no ads. Your settings and prayers stay on your device. STORY The prayer rope (chotki, komboskini) has been used for centuries across traditions to focus mind and spirit. This app recreates that tactile, rhythmic experience — with haptic feedback, a visual rope of unique knots, and the ability to carry your practice anywhere. By: Inetor Oy · Feedback: [email protected]
