Full description
Bubble opens the apps you already have in floating windows — the same bubbles Android uses for chat — so you can keep one thing on screen while you use another. Tap an app in Bubble's drawer and it floats over whatever you were doing. Tap its head to bring it back, drag it away to close it. Open a second one and the two sit side by side in a row, one tap apart. It feels like messaging, except the conversations are your apps. HOW IT WORKS Android draws the bubble — the frame, the row of heads, the close button. Bubble simply asks it to. That is why it needs no special access to your apps and cannot see inside them: the app in the bubble is running as itself, hosted by the system. WHAT YOU GET • Every launchable app on your device, in a searchable drawer • Pin the ones you use most to the front • Recents, newest first — cleared with one tap • A floating Add-app button so the next app is one tap away without going back • Three bubble heights, from a compact card to nearly full screen • Light, dark, or follow the system WHAT IT DOES NOT DO Bubble has no account, no analytics and no ads. It reads the list of installed apps to show them and keeps your settings on your device. The only thing it ever sends is feedback you write and choose to send, which goes to a private inbox the developer reads. The whole privacy policy fits on one screen, and it is in the app. BEFORE YOU START Bubbles are an Android feature that starts switched off for every app. The first time you float something, Bubble shows you the one setting to change — "All conversations can bubble" — and takes you straight to it. Needs Android 11 or later for floating bubbles; on Android 10 apps open full screen. A few apps tell Android they do not want to be shown in a bubble. Bubble cannot override that, and neither can anything else. The Add-app button is optional. It needs permission to draw over other apps, which Android asks for once, and only when you switch it on.

What's new

A new icon, and a tidier Settings. • New app icon — one blue shared by the icon, the buttons and the app's own mark • Settings opens from a menu button, and now carries Rate Bubble and More apps from the developer • Clearer confirmation after sending feedback • Small polish to the floating add-app button
