Pocket Node

Pocket Node runs a full CKB light client directly on your device. Your phone is the node, not a request to someone else's server. WHY POCKET NODE Most CKB wallets, including ones labelled non-custodial, depend on a remote indexer to know your balance. Pocket Node does not. The light client embedded in the app verifies block headers and cell data against the Nervos network directly. No analytics. No telemetry. No phone-home. FEATURES - Embedded CKB light client (Rust, in-process via JNI) for balance, history, and transaction broadcast - BIP39 12-word recovery phrase, generated locally on first run; imported wallets also supported - Multi-wallet with HD sub-accounts. Unlimited wallets per install. One parent phrase covers all derived accounts - Nervos DAO native support: deposit, two-phase withdrawal, per-cell compensation tracking computed from on-chain header DAO fields - Address book with smart suggestions, Send-screen autocomplete, and save-to-contacts after every successful send - Argon2id PIN derivation with 64 MB memory cost. - Biometric unlock backed by the Android Keystore. Per-operation authentication for transaction signing and recovery phrase display - Four sync modes: New wallet (instant), Recent activity (about 2 minutes), Custom block height with explorer deeplink, All history - Sync stall detector with one-tap Use Recent recovery when older wallets get stuck - QR code scanner for recipient addresses - Mainnet and testnet, switchable in one tap - Dark mode with System, Light, and Dark options KEY STORAGE Private keys are encrypted with an AES-256-GCM key generated by the Android Keystore and bound to user authentication. On Android 9 and newer the Keystore key is hardware-backed via the Trusted Execution Environment or Secure Element. Keys cannot be extracted from the device. Transaction signing happens locally; private keys never leave the phone. OPEN SOURCE Pocket Node was built under a CKB Community DAO grant. It is fully open source under the MIT licence. Every line of code, including the Rust light client, the JNI bridge, and the Kotlin app, is auditable on GitHub. REQUIREMENTS Android 8.0 (Oreo) or newer.
