RideCircles: Kids Carpool

RideCircles helps parents share school pickup and drop-off with a small group of families they trust. We call that group a circle. No more daily group texts about who is driving. Each family picks the days that work for them, and everyone in the circle sees the week at a glance. How a circle works • Create a circle for your school, or find one near you by school or neighborhood. • Each family sets the days it drives and the days it rides. The circle runs on any day someone drives. • When a new family asks to join, every member votes. The family joins only when every member says yes, and one no declines the request. Requests close after 14 days. • The circle checks seats against every car, so no driver is asked to carry more children than the car can hold. On the day • The driver sees today's riders and a pickup order planned from home, to each stop, to school. • Tap Navigate to open the route in Google Maps or Waze. • While a drive is in progress, parents in the circle can follow the car on a live map. • Parents confirm when their child is picked up, and the driver can confirm too. Stay in touch • Every circle has its own group chat. • The calendar shows who drives each day. You can connect your phone's calendar to spot conflicts, and your calendar events stay on your phone. • Trip history keeps a record of past drives. Privacy and safety • Your location is shared with your circle only while you drive. If you allow it, Discover also uses your location to find circles near you. • Children don't use the app. Parents add their own children, and only members of the same circle see a child's details. • You can report or block another member, and you can delete your account at any time from your profile. • RideCircles doesn't run background checks.
