Rhythm Highway is a music racing game and a rhythm game in one: every speed pad sits on a note of the melody, every car arrives on a drum hit, and the whole synthwave sky pulses with the beat. A retro sunset on the horizon, a 16-bit arcade look, lasers on the drop and a road that lights up in time with the music: this is racing you play with your ears. HOW TO PLAY • Swipe left or right to change lanes on a five-lane highway • Drive over the speed pads: they follow the melody, so a higher note sits further right • Dodge the traffic: cars, trucks, tankers and police cruisers arrive on the drums • Hit pads on the beat to build your combo and fill the turbo bar, then tap the screen: TURBO doubles your score • Missed pads drain your health and the edges of the screen pulse red. You get one spare crash; after that it's LAST CHANCE THE MUSIC DRIVES THE RACE Every song is charted from its own melody, bass and drums, so each level feels like the track. In the build-up a pad lands every half bar and the road swings from lane to lane. When the drop hits, pads come on every beat, the highway speeds up and the lasers fire.
