RGBlind: Color Blind Tools

RGBlind is the complete, free color vision toolkit — a scientifically-accurate simulator, a color vision test, a WCAG contrast checker, and a color-blind-safe palette generator, all in one app. Built for both color-blind users and the designers who build for them. No signup, no subscription, works offline. SIMULATE & CORRECT • Live camera simulation in real time • Photo simulation from your gallery • Daltonize correction — shift colors so red/green and blue/yellow cues become visible • Save the filtered image straight to your gallery, or share it to any app • Tap and hold a photo to compare with the original • Color sampler — tap any pixel to see its true color and how it appears to you • Severity slider (0–100%) for partial deficiencies (anomalous trichromacy) COLOR VISION TEST • Screen your color vision with classic pseudoisochromatic plates • Instant scoring with a plain-language interpretation • Not a medical diagnosis — a fast, private screening aid WCAG CONTRAST CHECKER • Enter any two colors (with a built-in color picker) and get the exact contrast ratio • AA / AAA pass or fail for normal and large text • See how the pairing reads for color-blind users (simulated contrast per deficiency) COLOR-BLIND-SAFE PALETTES • Published safe palettes (Wong, Paul Tol) that stay distinguishable across vision types • Preview any palette as protanopia, deuteranopia or tritanopia • One-tap copy of any hex code VISION TYPES SUPPORTED • Normal • Protanopia (red-blind) & Protanomaly • Deuteranopia (green-blind) & Deuteranomaly • Tritanopia (blue-blind) & Tritanomaly • Achromatopsia (total color blindness) PRIVACY FIRST Camera frames and photos never leave your device.
