Nightband works the shift out minute by minute rather than guessing from the start date, so nights that cross midnight, Saturdays that roll into Sundays, and bank holidays are all handled properly. The default pay bands follow published NHS Agenda for Change unsocial hours arrangements, which suits most ward staff. Every band is editable, so hospitality, retail, care, security and logistics workers can set their own uplifts too.
