Full description
Resume Builder CVnora helps you write, format and update a professional resume on your phone, from a blank page to a finished document you can send. A resume is usually the only thing a hiring manager sees before deciding whether to keep reading, so it has to be clear, current and easy to scan. CVnora gives you a guided place to build one section at a time instead of fighting with a word processor on a small screen. What you can do - Start a new resume from scratch or rework an existing one section by section. - Fill in contact details, a professional summary, work history, skills, education, certifications and anything else the role calls for. - Pick a layout that suits your field and see how your content sits inside it. - Keep more than one version so you can tailor your resume to each job posting. - Edit anywhere, whether you are between shifts or waiting in a lobby before an interview. - Export the finished document in a format you can attach to an email or upload to an application portal. How it works 1. Choose a layout. Pick something clean and readable, then move on. You can change it later. 2. Add your details. Name, phone number, email address and city are enough; a full street address is rarely expected now. 3. Write a short summary. Two or three sentences on what you do, how long you have done it and what you are looking for next. 4. Build your work history. Newest role first. Under each job, write bullet points that describe what you handled and what changed because of it. 5. Add skills and education, proofread the wording, then export and send. Who uses a resume builder Students and recent graduates putting together a first resume. Retail, hospitality and warehouse workers applying for hourly roles. Nurses, technicians and licensed trades with credentials to list. Office and administrative staff, teachers, drivers, engineers, designers, accountants, analysts and sales professionals. Independent contractors and freelancers who handle their own 1099 income and sales tax, and still need a resume for contract work. Career changers who want to reframe past experience for a new industry. Writing tips that hold up Keep it to one page early in your career and two pages once you have a decade behind you. Use plain language over jargon. Start bullet points with an action verb: managed, built, trained, reduced, scheduled, launched. Put numbers in when you have them, such as the size of a team, a budget in US dollars or a weekly volume. Drop old summer jobs once they stop adding anything. Read the posting closely and mirror the words it uses for the skills you actually have. Save your file with your own name in the filename so it is easy to find in a recruiter's inbox. Questions people ask Do I need a different resume for every application? Not a full rewrite, but small edits to your summary and your first few bullet points make a real difference. Should I include a photo? In the United States, usually no. How far back should work history go? Around ten to fifteen years for most roles, with earlier jobs summarized in a line. What about employment gaps? List the years, keep any explanation short, and move on. Where to start Not sure where to begin? Open a layout, type in your most recent job, and work outward from there. A rough draft you can edit beats a blank page every time. CVnora is built for that kind of work: open it, add a little, save, and come back later to finish your resume or update it when your title changes.
