Full description
Responder HQ is NERIS-native incident reporting plus the everyday records your volunteer fire department actually keeps — people, trucks, gear, training, attendance and events — in one modern, phone-first platform. DISCLAIMER: Responder HQ is an independent commercial product of RM Ventures LLC. We are not a government agency and do not represent, and are not affiliated with or endorsed by, the U.S. Fire Administration, FEMA, UL's Fire Safety Research Institute, or any other government entity. Official information about NERIS comes from the government sources listed at the end of this description. BUILT ON THE NERIS DATA MODEL NERIS — the National Emergency Response Information System — is the U.S. Fire Administration's national platform for fire and all-hazards incident reporting, developed with UL's Fire Safety Research Institute to succeed the legacy NFIRS system. Responder HQ is built on the NERIS data model and is listed by UL's Fire Safety Research Institute as NERIS V1 Data Exchange Compatible, meaning our integration meets the technical requirements for connecting to the NERIS API. That listing reflects technical compatibility only; it is not a government endorsement of this product. Your department remains responsible for its own reporting obligations. Confirm current requirements and timelines with the U.S. Fire Administration and your state fire marshal using the official sources below. WHAT'S INSIDE • NERIS incident reporting — a guided, phone-first wizard with a searchable NERIS type picker, local validation, officer sign-off, and automatic submission with retry. • Personnel and training — full roster with certifications, expiration tracking, training sessions with bulk attendance, and one-click CSV roster import. • Apparatus and rig checks — vehicle and equipment records with a tap-through truck-check runner that flags failures, opens maintenance, and tracks SCBA, PPE and hose tests. • Attendance and LOSAP points — configurable point rules that accrue automatically from calls and events, with participation percentages, standings and printable LOSAP statements. • Calendar and events — drills, meetings and duty crews with recurrence, RSVPs, a per-member calendar feed and automatic reminders. • Reports — incident, personnel, apparatus and equipment reports built for the paperwork departments already have to file. PHONE-FIRST, NO STATION PC Truck checks, incident reports and RSVPs happen on the phones your members already carry. SECURE BY DESIGN Strict per-department data isolation, invite-only membership, role-based access, and two-factor authentication for platform accounts. ACCOUNT REQUIRED Responder HQ is used by fire departments that subscribe at responder-hq.com. Members join by email invitation from their department, so signing in is required to use this app. OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT SOURCES Information about NERIS referenced in this listing and in the app comes from: • U.S. Fire Administration — NERIS: https://www.usfa.fema.gov/nfirs/neris/ • U.S. Fire Administration — NERIS status and timeline: https://www.usfa.fema.gov/nfirs/neris/neris-status-timeline/ • U.S. Fire Administration (FEMA): https://www.usfa.fema.gov/ • NERIS program site, UL's Fire Safety Research Institute: https://neris.fsri.org/ • NERIS integration partners list: https://neris.fsri.org/integration-partners Responder HQ is a product of RM Ventures LLC.

What's new

Sign in with Face ID. Turn it on under My account, or tick "Keep me signed in" when you sign in. After that, opening Responder HQ when your session has expired shows Face ID instead of asking for your password. Responder HQ only asks when you actually need to sign in — never just to open the app. Your sign-in is held in this phone's secure hardware, so it is released only when Face ID or Touch ID succeeds, and your chief can have it removed if you lose the phone. Also in this release: "Wat...
