Rental Car Proof

The car rental company has your deposit, and they know the system. Now you have a system too. Rental Car Proof helps you document a rental car's condition before you drive away — and after you return it — so you're never left without evidence if a damage dispute happens. WHY IT MATTERS Most renters either skip photos entirely, or take a few rushed shots that don't hold up if a company later claims damage you didn't cause. By the time a charge appears on your card, it's too late to go back and document what the car actually looked like. Rental Car Proof fixes that. A short guided walk-around takes you through the photos that actually matter — before you even leave the rental lot. HOW IT WORKS • Guided walk-around checklist — a simple step-by-step flow for pickup and return, so you never miss an angle • Timestamped, geotagged photos — every photo is stamped with the exact time and location it was taken, captured automatically as you shoot • Originals kept safe — your original photos are preserved untouched alongside stamped versions, so you always have independent, unaltered evidence • Evidence Pack export — when you need it, generate a complete pack of your photos and inspection details, ready to share with your rental company, card issuer, or insurer WHY PHOTOS, NOT JUST YOUR MEMORY Photos are the evidence format recognised by card network chargeback processes. A folder of timestamped, geotagged photos is far stronger evidence than a hazy memory of "it already had that scratch" a month after you returned the car. WHO IT'S FOR Anyone renting a car — for a holiday, a business trip, or while your own car is in the shop. If you've ever worried about being charged for damage you didn't cause, this app is your safety net. GET STARTED FREE Your first rental is free to document in full. After that, choose the plan that fits how often you rent — pay only when you need it, or go unlimited with an annual or lifetime plan. Rental Car Proof isn't affiliated with any rental car company. We're built for renters, not for rental companies — our only job is helping you protect yourself.
