Full description
Prepare for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot knowledge test (the UAG small-UAS exam) with a focused study app built for drone pilots. One price, everything included. No subscription, no in-app purchases, no ads. QUESTIONS YOU CAN'T MEMORIZE Most study apps hand you a fixed list. Work through it twice and you're recognizing answers, not knowing the material. Remote Pilot Lab adds 23 drill types that generate a brand-new problem every time: • Weather reports — decode a freshly generated METAR or TAF, then work out the ceiling, the flight category, the crosswind component, or whether 107.51 actually lets you fly. • Calculations — density altitude, wind components, weight & balance and CG shift, payload, time en route, endurance, Zulu conversion, frequencies. New numbers every attempt. • Charts & airspace — read a generated sectional excerpt and resolve the airspace at a given altitude, whether authorization is required, the 107.51(b) structure limit, or the AGL-to-MSL conversion. Every drill shows its full worked solution, step by step, and cites the regulation or formula it rests on. 570-QUESTION BANK, FIVE WAYS TO WORK IT • Random study — questions from across the bank, avoiding ones you've just seen. • Directed study — finds your weak areas and serves what you need most, using weighted-random or spaced-repetition selection. Or narrow a session to one knowledge area. • Missed questions — everything you've got wrong, on its own, until you've earned it back. • Bookmarked — flag anything mid-question or mid-exam and come back to it later. • Timed 60-question practice exams matching the real test's subject makeup across all 11 knowledge areas in 14 CFR 107.73(a). 90-minute limit, 70% to pass, a navigator grid for jumping and flagging, then a per-topic breakdown and a question-by-question review. AN HONEST READINESS ESTIMATE • A predicted score with a confidence range, not a single flattering number. • If you haven't answered enough for the estimate to mean anything, it says so instead of guessing. • A per-knowledge-area heatmap that separates accuracy from coverage — 90% on a tenth of the questions isn't 90% on all of them. • ACS area progress and a test-date countdown. 14 CFR PART 107, OFFLINE AND SEARCHABLE • The complete regulation — all 61 sections — bundled in the app. No signal needed. • Full-text search, and answer explanations link straight to the paragraph behind them. FIGURES AND CHARTS • Sectional symbols, airspace diagrams, runway markings and airport signs render in the app. • Questions needing the printed FAA-CT-8080-2H supplement are clearly flagged, and can be switched off if you don't have a copy handy. QUESTION QUALITY YOU CAN CHECK Every bank question cites its source: official FAA public UAG sample questions, or original items written from public FAA materials — 14 CFR Part 107, the FAA-G-8082-22 Study Guide, the UAS ACS, AC 107-2, the AIM, and the FAA-CT-8080-2H supplement. Generated drills are computed from public-domain regulation text and published aviation formulas. Nothing is copied from any commercial test-prep product. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no login, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. • Works fully offline. Your study data never leaves your device. • Light, dark, and system themes. Working toward your first Remote Pilot Certificate? Remote Pilot Lab gives you honest practice with sources you can verify. — Remote Pilot Lab is an independent study aid published by Kestrel Drone Services (a DBA of TOJA Ventures LLC). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). It makes no guarantee that you will pass the Part 107 knowledge test. Generated weather reports and charts are training examples only and are not for flight planning. Bundled regulation text is current as of July 1, 2026 — always verify against current FAA materials before relying on any answer.

What's new

- Explanations on each question. All 569 questions now say why the right answer is right and where the rule comes from, across all 11 knowledge areas. - Answer corrections. Several answers and explanations were tightened after another review against the FAA sources.
