Full description
CapyFetch is a straightforward SFTP client for moving files between your phone and your own servers. Point it at a machine you already have SSH access to, browse the files, and queue up what you want. Transfers keep running when you leave the app, and they resume where they left off instead of starting over. TRANSFERS • Download and upload over SFTP • Resume interrupted transfers rather than restarting them • Pause and restart anything in the queue • Runs in the background with a live progress notification • Set how many transfers run at once (up to 6) • Optional speed limits for download and upload • Wi-Fi only mode so you never eat your mobile data • Choose where downloads land, or use the default Downloads folder FILE BROWSER • Browse remote directories and drill into folders • Download a single file or a whole folder, with the layout preserved • Upload files from your phone • Rename, delete, and create folders on the server SERVERS AND SECURITY • Save as many servers as you like and switch between them • Password or private key authentication, with passphrase support • Host keys are verified on connect and you confirm new ones by fingerprint • Credentials are held in encrypted storage on the device • Test a connection before you save it NO ACCOUNT, NO MIDDLEMAN CapyFetch talks directly to your server. There is no CapyFetch account, no cloud service in the middle, and no analytics. Your files and your credentials stay between your phone and the machine you point it at. GOOD FOR • Pulling media, backups, or large archives off a home server or NAS • Getting photos and video off your phone and onto real storage • Grabbing build artifacts, logs, or ISOs from a remote box • Any time you want a download to survive locking your phone
