Streamova: NAS/SMB USB Player

Streamova turns your Android TV into a player for the video you already own. It browses SMB2/3 shares on your NAS or PC and folders on a USB disk or the TV's own storage, then plays your files directly from the source — no copying, no waiting, no extra software on the server. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Streamova on your Android TV. 2. Add a source: an SMB2/3 share on your NAS or PC (Streamova can scan your network to find it), or a folder on a USB disk or the TV's own storage, picked with the app's own folder picker. 3. Browse your folders with the remote, choose a film or an episode, and press play. Servers that only speak SMB1 are not supported. • Subtitle support covers text formats (.srt, .ass, .ssa, .vtt, .smi) and embedded text tracks. Image-based subtitles such as PGS and VobSub are not supported. • Streamova is a browser and a player only. It does not write to your server, does not use FTP/SFTP, DLNA/UPnP or casting, does not transcode video, and never downloads or caches your video files or fetches metadata or posters online.
