Full description
Keep the articles you choose close, whether you found them through a link or an RSS feed. ReadShelf is an Android app for saving, organizing, reading, and listening without the noise. When an article downloads successfully, its extracted text and available images are saved on your device for offline reading. If a page cannot be extracted, you still keep the link and can open the original site when connected. READ YOUR WAY • A clean article view without the original page's pop-ups and banners • Light, dark, and sepia themes with adjustable typography • Android text-to-speech narration with playback controls • Search within an article, highlight passages, and add notes FOLLOW AND FIND • Subscribe to RSS/Atom feeds and organize sources by category • Explore a curated catalog of articles and sources by topic • Choose what to download or enable automatic downloads for a source KEEP YOUR LIBRARY PORTABLE • Import Pocket data and OPML feed subscriptions • Export your library as JSON, Markdown, HTML, or EPUB • Optionally sync library metadata, highlights, and notes between Android devices; full downloaded articles stay local No account is required for local reading. There are no ads or third-party analytics SDKs; optional usage metrics are off by default. Experimental AI features require your own key and are not needed to read.

What's new

Reader: change theme, font, width, justified text and keep-screen-on without leaving the article; table of contents for long reads; archive when finished and open the next in queue. Feeds: mark as read while scrolling, muted words, source diagnostics with plain-language errors and a leaner source card with a Reorder mode.
