VaultLoom

VaultLoom is a privacy-focused, local-first vault designed to help you securely store and manage sensitive information on your device. Keep passwords, notes, contacts, images, videos, asset records and saved messages organised in one protected place. VaultLoom uses password protection, optional biometric authentication and encrypted storage to help keep your data private. You do not need to create an email-based online account to use the main VaultLoom features. Optional online features such as private messaging and encrypted backup sharing may use VaultLoom relay services. Data sent through these features is encrypted before transmission where supported, and decryption keys remain under the user’s control. Private messaging Create or join private rooms using a Room ID and decryption key. Messages and supported media are encrypted before being sent through VaultLoom’s relay service. Room details can be shared with trusted users, and inactive rooms may be automatically removed after a period of inactivity. Encrypted backups Create encrypted backups of your VaultLoom data and restore them later using the correct encryption password or key. VaultLoom cannot recover forgotten encryption keys. Privacy and security VaultLoom does not sell your personal information or use your vault contents for advertising. Biometric authentication is handled by your device’s operating system. VaultLoom does not receive or store your fingerprint or facial recognition template. Some optional online features require internet access and may process technical identifiers such as VaultLoom User IDs, room IDs and encrypted data in order to provide those services. VaultLoom is designed to give you control over where your information is stored, how it is encrypted and when it is shared.
