TV Remote Button Mapper

TV Remote Button Mapper gives you ultimate control over your Android TV experience. Whether you want to repurpose useless sponsored buttons (like Netflix or Prime Video), create shortcuts for your favorite apps, or quickly force-stop frozen applications, this tool lets you customize your remote exactly how you want it. Built specifically for Android TV, this app runs silently in the background and lets you assign both Single Tap and Long Press actions to almost any button on your remote. 🔥 Key Features: • Launch Any App: Instantly open your favorite streaming services, games, or tools with a single button press. • System Shortcuts: Map buttons to essential TV functions like Home, Back, Quick Settings, or Recent Apps. • App Info / Force Stop: Create a dedicated "Force Stop" button. Pressing it instantly opens the Android settings page for whatever app is currently on your screen, allowing you to quickly kill frozen apps. • Volume Bug Bypass: Android TV sometimes struggles to process holding down the Volume buttons if an accessibility service is active. This app automatically pauses itself whenever you press a volume key, ensuring smooth volume control. 🛡️ Privacy First & Ad-Free This app does exactly what it says and nothing else. It is 100% free, contains zero ads, and requires no accounts. It operates completely offline. IMPORTANT: Use of Accessibility Services In order to intercept your remote control buttons, TV Remote Button Mapper requires you to enable the Android Accessibility Service. • This is used exclusively to detect hardware button presses. • We do not read your screen content. • We do not collect passwords, keystrokes, or personal data. • All mappings are stored locally on your TV.
