Rank Signs

Rank Signs is a latin square puzzle with a twist. Every row and every column holds each number exactly once — on a six by six square, that is one through six. What tells you where they go are the signs between neighbouring cells, each saying which of the two is larger. Levels open completely empty. There are no given numbers to lean on: everything comes from the chains of signs, and following one across the board is what the game is about. Tap a cell to select it, then pick a number from the strip below; tapping the same number again clears it. A number repeated in its line, or a sign that no longer holds, turns red the moment it happens. Every square in Rank Signs was built from a full solution, and then its signs were removed one at a time for as long as the answer stayed unique. There is exactly one way to fill each square. Ten squares, from four by four up to six by six. Each one is fixed to its level and never changes. Offline, no accounts, no forced ads, nothing to buy.
