Co-Rider

Co-Rider is a simple, privacy-friendly GPX handoff tool for riders who want to use their planned tours in Google Maps. Choose a GPX file and Co-Rider processes it locally on your device. The app analyzes the complete track and selects strategic route-shaping coordinates to preserve the large-scale character of the original tour as well as possible. You can review the original GPX distance, elevation information and a clear route-quality estimate before opening the prepared route in Google Maps. Features: • Import GPX tracks and routes through Android’s system file picker • Process and store GPX files locally on your device • Keep up to ten recently used routes • Restore the active route after restarting the app • View distance, elevation range and an elevation profile when available • Open the prepared driving route directly in Google Maps • System, light and dark appearance • No account, advertising, analytics, subscription, backend or cloud service Co-Rider is not a navigation system and does not generate turn-by-turn instructions. Google Maps calculates the final roads between the transferred coordinates, so the resulting route may differ from the original GPX track. Some GPX files also do not contain reliably identifiable stops from the original route planner. Always review the resulting route before starting your ride. Do not operate your phone while riding and always follow applicable traffic rules. Co-Rider is an independent application and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or Honda.
