RadarBIP: speed camera alerts

RadarBIP warns you about speed cameras while you drive, without taking your navigator off the screen. It has no maps and no navigation of its own on purpose: you keep using Google Maps or Waze, and RadarBIP stays on top in a small bubble you can drag anywhere. WHAT YOU SEE • Your speed and the road limit, always visible. • The edge glows red when you go over the limit. • When a camera is ahead, the bubble opens and shows the type, the limit and a distance countdown. THE ALERT ARRIVES IN TIME The warning distance is not fixed: it follows your speed. At 120 km/h it warns almost a kilometre ahead; in town it warns closer in metres but with the same reaction time. You choose how many seconds of warning you want. IN THE CAR With Android Auto the alert plays through your speakers even with Maps on screen. The bubble only shows on the phone: Google does not allow any app to draw over the car navigator. OFFLINE Download the countries you need and the app works with no data connection, abroad too. PRIVACY Your location is used only inside your phone to work out the distance to a camera. It is never sent to any server, no trip history is kept and nothing is shared. No accounts, no ads. DATA Cameras from open and official sources: OpenStreetMap, the Spanish DGT and the Catalan traffic service, among others. The database is refreshed daily on the server. WHERE THE LAW ALLOWS IT In countries where speed camera warnings are not allowed, the app does not provide them. In France it warns about danger zones, with no exact position, as required there. RadarBIP is not a substitute for your attention or for road signs. Always respect the speed limits.
