WalkReset: Walking Reminder

Long stretches of sitting can make it easy to forget to move. WalkReset puts recurring walking break reminders directly on your Wear OS watch, then asks you to complete a qualifying five-minute walk before the break counts as complete. Set up your routine once and manage it from your wrist. WalkReset is designed as a standalone Wear OS app, so reminders, controls, progress, settings, purchase and restore work without a phone companion. WALKING BREAKS THAT REQUIRE MOVEMENT Starting a walk begins a short verification session using the watch step counter. A standard WalkReset challenge requires both five minutes and 300 steps, so simply dismissing a timer does not mark the break complete. CONTROL THE ROUTINE FROM YOUR WATCH The free routine uses 30-minute reminders, active hours from 08:00 to 22:00 every day, and Balanced reminders. When you need flexibility, you can snooze, pause, skip, stop for today, resume or disable reminders directly from the watch. WalkReset clearly shows whether your routine is monitoring, due, overdue, walking, snoozed, paused or currently outside its active schedule. SEE YOUR RECENT PROGRESS Review today’s activity and a rolling seven-day summary directly on the watch. WalkReset stores derived routine history locally and lets you delete today’s history or clear all history from the app. PERSONALIZE WITH LIFETIME PRO Lifetime Pro is an optional one-time Google Play purchase with no subscription. Pro unlocks 20, 45 and 60-minute reminder intervals, plus additional active-hour schedules including 07:00–18:00, 07:00–19:00, 09:00–17:00, 07:00–23:00 and all day. You can also choose weekday-only or weekend-only routines, or create one custom local start/end schedule with your own active days. Custom schedules can run overnight when the end time falls on the following day. Lifetime Pro also includes optional Strict overdue reminders and your choice of 30, 90, 180-day or indefinite history retention. PRIVACY-CONSCIOUS BY DESIGN WalkReset does not require a WalkReset account and does not include ads, behavioral analytics or a developer backend. It does not use location, route tracking, heart rate, microphone or camera data. Step sensing runs only while an active walking challenge is in progress, and raw sensor streams are not stored. IMPORTANT Walking verification requires a compatible step-counter sensor and Activity Recognition permission. Reminder timing uses the scheduling behavior provided by Wear OS and Android and should not be treated as exact or safety-critical.
