QR Safety

QR Safety (QRakshak) is a safety-first QR platform for people, vehicles and belongings. Put a safety QR on the things you care about — a car, a school bag, a wristband, luggage or an ID card. If someone finds it or needs to help, they can reach you or your family through a masked page — without ever seeing your private details. HOW IT WORKS 1. Get a printed safety QR sticker and activate it once. 2. Secure your account with a 4-digit PIN. 3. Add the family contacts who should be alerted. 4. Place the sticker where it matters. WHAT A FINDER SEES (no app install) • A clean helper page that opens in any mobile browser — nothing to install, no account to create. • Your details are hidden by default. The finder never sees your raw phone number or sensitive notes. • Call family — a masked call connects the finder to your trusted contact. • Call 112 — a one-tap dial option for real emergencies. QR Safety never dials on its own. WHAT THE OWNER GETS • Scan alerts by email and push notification. • A PIN-protected account for every QR you own — manage several QRs in one place. • See who scanned and when, with sensitive values masked. • Edit details any time, or revoke a lost sticker instantly. • Family contacts on every QR, with clear control over what is visible. FIVE SAFETY CATEGORIES • Vehicle Safety — a parked or blocked vehicle shows only masked details; a finder can call your family in one tap. • Child Safety — quick guardian contact for a school bag or wristband, with private details kept hidden. • Elderly Safety — fast contact for family, with medical notes kept hidden until you allow them. • Woman Safety — your number is never exposed; helpers reach you only through a masked call. • Luggage Safety — a durable bag tag with masked, one-tap contact. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • The helper page is masked by default. • We do not collect background location, messages, contacts or audio. The camera is used to scan QR codes; an optional photo you add to your QR is stored so a finder can recognise the item or person. • Data is encrypted in transit. You can request deletion at any time through support. • The helper page is available in Hindi, English, Bengali, Tamil and Marathi. IMPORTANT QR Safety is a safety aid, not an emergency service. It helps you and your family reach each other faster, but it does not dispatch police, ambulance or any government service. In any emergency, call 112 first. Alert delivery depends on your network and third-party providers, so delivery is not guaranteed. QR Safety is operated by QRakshak.
