SKY STRIKE puts you in the seat of a high-altitude UAV sensor operator flying close air support over a fictional desert theatre. You watch through a thermal camera, tell hostile forces from friendly troops, and answer for every round you fire. ⚡ YOUR FIRST SORTIE IS A DECISION The training kill teaches the controls: slew, zoom, acquire, fire. Then the loaned missile is taken back, your own gun comes home, and there is a second vehicle out there that is your problem. The GMG-40 is free and you have plenty — but it drops, so anything moving has to be led. The two R-68 rockets are faster and flatter, and there are only two. Neither answer is wrong. Both cost you something. 📊 EVERY SORTIE EXPLAINS ITSELF The debrief does not just score you. It tells you WHY it went that way: whether the rounds that missed were the ones you have to lead, whether armour was soaking your light rounds, whether the airframe took hits you could have avoided, and whether the clock was the thing that beat you. Rounds per target, restraint, airframe and time on station — a record to beat, and something to try differently. ⚑ HAND SOMEONE THE RESULT Fly a sortie you are proud of and send a six-character code. It puts them on the SAME mission, the same ground, the same defences — and tells them whether they did it in fewer rounds than you. 🎯 THE THINGS THAT KILL YOU ARE DIFFERENT THINGS Air defence takes your airframe apart across a sortie. Armour ignores light rounds. Hardened positions need a round built to go through them. Convoys move, so a shot at where a truck IS lands where it WAS.
