O aplicativo MinhaPele foi criado por pesquisadores do LIPAI (Laboratório Interdisciplinar de Processamento e Análise de Imagens) da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. A aplicação foi criada usando técnicas de inteligência artificial com mais de 40 mil imagens médicas e conta com a participação de especialistas da saúde. Com ele é possivel realizar um autoexame de câncer de pele para identificar sinais suspeitos ou lesões que podem ser câncer ou tumores que podem se transformar em câncer de pele (precursores). Indivíduos com alto risco de câncer de pele são indicados a realizar o autoexame. Atenção: A aplicação não substitui uma avaliação médica.
