TCINextGen PMIS

The purpose of this tool is to develop a uniform, real time, accurate and transparent monitoring system to strengthen TCI team and review mechanism where data based decision making can be facilitated. A mobile app is developed as to create standardized monitoring mechanism for all the states and cities. Currently this is being used by 5 states (Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha) . The number of states may vary (between 1-5), and the cities displayed are tailored according to the selected state and the logged-in user's location or access permissions. Key features- a. User friendly and Secure interface - User - friendly interface: Designed for ease of use, minimizing risk of data entry errors by validating across checkpoints and enhancing user experience for healthcare professionals. - Data security: Robust security measures including encryption and multi-layer authentication to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. b. Coaching & gap analysis tool- - Ongoing real time checklists works as coaching tool as well for the team for course corrections in the facilities. c. Integrated mobile app - Integrated system- All the monitoring tools are in one place and everyone with a login and password can access the tools - Easy to Scale-It is easy to scale and rollout if program area is expanded. d. Real time data access and reporting- - Digital tool provide opportunity to fill real time data syncing facility. - Offline access to the tool and online submission. - Data can be saved for later use and edits. e. Ensures data quality and real time analysis - - Data quality- It also prevents duplication of records and also limits illogical responses which reduce the efforts of data cleaning. - Scoring- Real time scoring of the quality indicators, provides an ongoing status of the facility in different HII/HIP to improve. Benefits • Standardized system of data collection: This ensures standardized process of data collection in all TCI NextGen cities. • Timely and quality data collection: It will have time specific and quality checks to facilitate timely data collection in all the TCI cities • Increase Accessibility: Easy access of all the tools in one integrated mobile app with offline save mode for easily administration of tool • Real-time status updates: User interface help user and their supervisor to monitor real time status of tool administration • Limiting data quality issues- Data quality issues like duplication of data and blank fields, wrong entries have been minimized at mobile application level so that basic cleaning of data may not be required • Visual presentation of data: State and city wise data dashboard enable user to summarize city performance in HII/HIP implementation and Health system strengthening, also identify gaps for action planning. • Data download and reports: User interface also allows user to share periodical performance of facility and city with LG in review meetings. • Decision Tracking data: will capture patterns of decisions taken, actions planned and completed Conclusion: Android based mobile app integrates all PMIS tools which assess monthly and quarterly implementation of HII/HIPs and also its quality. It also tracks coaching efforts of TCI team in different platforms. This integrated platform not only served as assessment platform also function as coaching tool for team as it provides them real time scoring while assessing HII/HIP for any facility and help them in action planning.
