ProWasteBins

ProWasteBins is a field application for municipal waste utilities. Crews use it to keep the container inventory accurate: finding containers and collection points on a map, recording new ones where they are actually installed, and updating the details of existing ones during a round. It is part of ProGIS, the geographic information platform by PRotOK used by water, sewer and waste utilities. WHAT YOU CAN DO - See the container network on an aerial or map basemap, drawn by type and status - Filter what is on screen by theme, so a round shows only what matters - Add a container at your current GNSS position, by tapping the map, or by snapping to existing geometry - Edit, move and delete existing records, with attributes and photos - Identify any object on the map and read its full attribute record - Measure distances and areas, and sketch points, lines and circles over the map - Find a location by coordinate or by street address POSITIONING Positions come from the device's own GNSS or from an external Bluetooth receiver, with live accuracy and height shown at all times. Heights are normalised through the geoid configured for your organisation, so recorded elevations match the rest of your data. WORKS OFFLINE The dataset is held on the device, so the app keeps working with no signal. Changes are stored locally and synchronised with your organisation's ProGIS server once a connection is available. ACCESS ProWasteBins is a business application and is not useful on its own. Signing in requires an account issued by your organisation, and the map and data come from that organisation's ProGIS installation. Contact PRotOK or your GIS administrator if you need access.
