Protern Video

Protern Video transforms alpine ski and snowboard training by combining GPS performance data with video, directly on your device. Capture, analyze, and review technique with precision and speed, right from the slopes. No laptop. No exporting. Just insight. Protern Video now includes Protern Cloud, which handles video sharing automatically so coaches and athletes can review runs sooner during training and races. Why Coaches and Athletes Use Protern Video • No Computer Needed Record your athlete and name them. Protern Video automatically downloads GPS data and links it to video when the athlete syncs their sensor. • Built for the Slopes Large, glove-compatible buttons and simple controls make Protern Video reliable in fast-paced, cold-weather training environments. • One-Handed Use Zoom, assign athletes, and select GPS data easily without juggling apps or stopping the session. • Automatic Video Sharing with Protern Cloud Film as usual while video uploads and becomes available across your devices and, if you choose, to athletes or other coaches. No exporting or sending clips during training. • Fast On-Hill Review Athletes can review their runs shortly after they are filmed, helping tighten the feedback loop while the session is still moving. • Flexible Sharing Control Keep video private, share with individual athletes, coaches only, or the full team. Sharing is always coach-controlled. • Multi-Camera Sync Combine video from multiple camera positions along the course into a single full-run playback. Watch the complete run without scrubbing through separate clips and compare full runs side by side. • Side-by-Side Video Export Export dual-run comparisons to review speed, timing, and technique frame by frame. • Instant Data Overlays View speed, splits, and key metrics directly on video with a single tap, ideal for on-hill coaching. • Full-Run Comparisons Compare any two runs over the entire course, not just short segments, for deeper insight into line choice, speed, and performance. • Auto Athlete Detection Protern Video identifies athletes in imported videos using synced GPS data, removing manual tagging. Protern Video brings powerful, full-run video analysis to the slopes. With automatic video sharing, multi-camera support, and integrated performance data, it is built for coaches and athletes who need clear feedback without slowing down training.
