Valto: Photo Vault, Hide Files

Valto is an encrypted photo vault and secure folder for everything private on your phone — photos, videos, files, documents, passwords, notes and contacts — with an optional working calculator disguise. Most vault apps just move your files into a hidden folder. Valto encrypts every item with AES-256-GCM, stores the master key in your device's hardware keystore and keeps the database itself encrypted with SQLCipher. ━━━ HIDE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS ━━━ An encrypted private gallery for the photos and videos you would rather not hand over when someone borrows your phone. Import in batches, group by month, pinch to zoom, play videos straight from encrypted storage. After importing, Valto offers to delete the originals from your gallery. Thumbnails are encrypted too. ━━━ A SECURE FOLDER FOR FILES AND DOCUMENTS ━━━ Valto is not only a photo locker. It is a document vault and a private folder for the paperwork that matters: • Passports, driving licences and ID scans • Payslips, tax returns and bank statements • Tenancy agreements and contracts • Medical letters and test results • PDFs, ZIP archives and audio files Browse inside ZIP archives, read PDFs and play audio without ever decrypting to normal storage. Every file gets its own key material, its name on disk is obfuscated, and the real filename is kept encrypted. Lock the vault and every preview is wiped. ━━━ PASSWORDS, NOTES, CONTACTS AND LINKS ━━━ • Passwords — encrypted, with autofill inside Valto's private browser • Notes — rich text with headings, lists, quotes, code and links • Private contacts — keep phone numbers out of your public address book • Links — private bookmarks that never touch your normal browser ━━━ THE CALCULATOR THAT KEEPS A SECRET (Premium) ━━━ Switch on Stealth Mode and Valto opens as a fully working calculator with 6 themes and real maths. Type your PIN and press = and your vault opens silently. Wrong codes just show 0. The disguise is optional and off by default — a fresh install opens to a normal PIN screen. On Android you can also change the launcher name to Calculator, Notes or Tools. ━━━ A DECOY VAULT THAT HOLDS UP (Premium) ━━━ Set a second panic PIN that opens a genuine second vault with its own content — a real encrypted partition, not a fake empty screen. If someone makes you open the app, they see the decoy and nothing else. ━━━ KNOW WHO TRIED TO GET IN ━━━ • Intruder selfie (Premium): after 2 failed attempts the front camera quietly takes a photo • Intruder log (free): the time, the PIN they tried and their picture ━━━ SERIOUS SECURITY ━━━ • AES-256-GCM encryption for every item, including thumbnails • Argon2id PIN protection, memory-hard by design • SQLCipher-encrypted database • Master key held in the Android hardware keystore — it never leaves your device • Fingerprint unlock, failed-attempt lockout, auto-lock and inactivity timers • Screenshot blocking, flip-to-hide and shake-to-hide (Premium) ━━━ PRIVACY BY ARCHITECTURE ━━━ • No account required • No push notifications • Your vault contents never leave your device unencrypted — we cannot see what is inside • Cloud backup (Premium) is end-to-end encrypted to YOUR OWN Google Drive. Valto runs no vault server. ━━━ ALSO INSIDE ━━━ • Private incognito browser — downloads land already encrypted in your vault • Wireless device-to-device transfer over local WiFi (receiving free, sending Premium) • Collections, live search, 7 sort options, batch import with a progress bar • QR scanner, 12 alternate app icons, light and dark themes, 38 languages ━━━ FREE AND PREMIUM ━━━ Valto is free to use with all 6 vault types and unlimited items, supported by ads. Valto Premium (auto-renewing subscription with a 3-day free trial) adds the calculator disguise, decoy vault, intruder selfie, screenshot blocking, cloud backup and wireless sending, and removes ads.
