Full description
PrintLapse turns your phone into a small camera server on your Wi-Fi network. Your printer tells the phone when to take a picture — one frame per layer, always at the same point in the print — and the app renders those frames into an MP4 right on the device. HOW IT WORKS 1. Create a project and open the camera screen. 2. Turn on Network Trigger in Settings. The app shows your phone's address, for example 192.168.1.42:5000 3. Have your printer send a simple HTTP request to http://:5000/foto-cek on every layer change. 4. When the print finishes, choose a frame rate and hit render. The video is saved on your phone, ready to share. Step 3 works with anything that can make a web request at layer change: Klipper/Moonraker macros, OctoPrint, Home Assistant, a shell script, or plain curl. There is nothing to install on the printer itself. Don't want to touch your printer configuration? You don't have to. Capture frames with the on-screen shutter or the volume buttons and the app handles the rest. FEATURES • Layer-synced capture over your local network — a plain HTTP GET is all it takes • Manual capture too: on-screen shutter and volume-button shutter • Projects: every print keeps its own frames, frame counter and thumbnail • Built-in gallery to review your frames and share the finished video • On-device H.264 / MP4 rendering — nothing is uploaded, nothing is queued on a server • Pick your output frame rate and rotate the video in 90° steps • Exposure lock, so brightness doesn't flicker between frames • Standard or maximum resolution, and Full / 9:16 / 3:4 / 1:1 framing • Front or rear camera • Optional motorized camera slider (ESP32 rail over Wi-Fi): tell PrintLapse how many layers the print has and the rail advances one step per layer for a moving, cinematic shot • Runs as a foreground service with a wake lock, so the connection survives long prints and a sleeping screen GOOD TO KNOW • Keep the camera screen open during the print — that's where the camera is live. Plug the phone in for long jobs. • The phone and whatever sends the trigger must be on the same Wi-Fi network. • Frames and rendered videos are stored in the app's own folder on your device. PRIVACY No account, no sign-in, no server of ours. Your photos and videos never leave your phone unless you share them yourself. The local web server only listens on your Wi-Fi network and only answers two requests: a capture trigger and a status check. Made for makers who want their prints to look as good on screen as they do on the plate.

What's new

More reliable slider connection. The app now warns when the slider's start/end points are not set.
