PERMISSIONS – WHY WE ASK • Installed apps list: needed to show, organise and launch your apps (core launcher function) • Contacts (optional): to show contacts in search results • Calendar (optional): for calendar widgets and the live calendar icon • Microphone (optional): only for voice search when you tap the mic • Notification access (optional): only to show unread badge counts • Uninstall request: lets you uninstall apps from the home screen; Android always asks you to confirm Optional permissions are requested only when you use the related feature.
