Full description
Sharpen Angle is an offline-first bench card for home and shop knife sharpeners who run one named blade session at a time. Cold start opens a fullscreen dual-side bevel gauge with large left and right angle dials in degrees, bevel face highlights, and live target-versus-actual markers for the active blade—no camera, sensors, or network required. From the gauge you set steel and grind notes, build an ordered stone grit ladder (for example 400 → 1000 → 3000 → strop) with grit, binder, and lubricant notes, and work the edge with intent. Per-side stroke counters support quick +1 and +5 taps, side lock, and optional stroke goals tied to the current grit step. Before you advance, a burr-check checklist records felt, seen, and both-sides-even results. Finish with an edge-test card: paper slice, arm hair, tomato skin, or a custom test with pass/fail and a short free-text note. Keep a local roster of blades with steel type, grind style, length class, and preferred bevel targets. A seed catalog of common kitchen, EDC, and outdoor blades plus starter grit ladders and angle presets (such as 15°/20° per side) gets you moving fast. Every session saves a timeline of angles used, grit path, total strokes, burr outcomes, and final edge grade. When the session is complete, copy a plain-text bench card summary through the system share sheet. Local preferences cover degree step size, default dominant side, and gauge orientation. There are no accounts and no cloud—everything stays on your device so every sharpening becomes a repeatable, documented bench card on one focused surface.

What's new

Initial production release of Sharpen Angle. First release ships the fullscreen dual-side bevel gauge with independent left/right angle dials, face shading, and target markers. Build stone grit sequences, count strokes per side, complete burr-check checklists, log edge-test results, and export a plain-text session bench card—fully offline with a local blade roster and starter presets.
