Pool Guardian

Pool Guardian is freeze protection for your pool. A dual-sensor system watches your water line all winter and automatically lowers it before freezing water can reach your tile — and this app shows you what it's doing, from anywhere. Tile and coping repairs from a single hard freeze routinely run into the thousands. Pool Guardian keeps the water safely below the tile line, so ice forms below your tile instead of against it. HOW IT WORKS Two sensors sit on the pool coping under your winter cover: a high sensor just below the tile line, a low sensor a few inches beneath it. When rain or snowmelt raises the water and the high sensor gets wet, the controller starts your pump and runs it until the level drops to the low sensor, then stops on its own. All winter, with no lifting the cover to check and no manual pumping. WATER LEVEL MONITORING See both sensor states and current water temperature at a glance. Each device card carries its own status, so an offline sensor, a blocked pump, or degraded freeze sensing is obvious without opening anything. EXTERNAL PUMP CONTROL Pool Guardian is not a pump. It switches a user-supplied submersible pump, and you can turn that pump on or off from the app wherever you are. Every run is recorded, so you get a history showing how long each one lasted and whether it started automatically or by hand. ALERTS Choose what you want to be told about: the pump starting and stopping, a pump running longer than it should, freeze activity, sensor faults, and a controller that has gone unreachable. Alerts that matter must be acknowledged, so they cannot quietly scroll away. WORKS WHEN YOUR INTERNET DOES NOT Freeze protection runs entirely on the controller — it does not need the internet, your phone, or this app to protect your pool. Most equipment pads have no Wi-Fi anyway. Local Mode finds your controller on your own network and talks to it directly, so status and pump control keep working during an outage. INTEGRATIONS Compatible with Home Assistant, SmartThings, and MQTT. MORE THAN ONE POOL Group controllers by location and manage them from a single account.
