PlumbMate: Plumbing Revision

PlumbMate is the UK revision app for plumbing apprentices, covering all three levels of the City & Guilds qualification on one subscription. Twenty-five units. 782 written lessons. Every figure in them traced back to the document it came from — the Water Regulations, the Approved Documents, the British Standards — not copied out of a textbook. WHAT IT COVERS • Level 1 Diploma (7202-01) — 10 units • Level 2 Plumbing (6035-02) — 9 units, and the 9189 apprenticeship standard • Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma (8202-35) — 6 units One subscription covers all three, and your progress carries across as you move up. WHAT YOU GET • 782 written lessons, deliberately short — one is a tea break, not an evening • 600+ of them also open as a narrated session: slides read aloud, with knowledge checks and the lesson's own task built in • 5,900+ multiple-choice questions, with an explanation on every answer • 650+ written short answers, marked against the course material's own mark scheme • 6,000+ flashcards • 900+ interactive tasks — fill the gaps, sort boards, working cutaways you open yourself, and simulators • Design assignments at Level 3, marked the way City & Guilds mark design work • Practical walkthroughs for every assessed task MARKED, NOT JUST SCORED Get a multiple-choice question wrong and it tells you the reason, not just the right answer. Write a short answer and it is marked against the mark scheme: what you got right, and where you dropped marks, what was wanted instead. At the end of a quiz it reads the whole attempt and writes you a summary of which topics to go back to. IT REMEMBERS WHAT YOU GET WRONG Anything you miss goes into Key Revision, and you have to get it right across three separate sessions, hours apart, before it clears. That spacing is what turns short-term recall into knowledge you still have on the day. A PLAN BUILT ROUND YOUR EXAM DATE Tell it when you are assessed and it writes you a study plan: how many sessions a week, which unit first, what to leave until later — worked backwards from your date and from what you have actually done. ALSO INSIDE • A heatmap showing which learning outcomes are weakest, and drills that target them • Revision tests and a Final Challenge for every unit • Certificates and badges as you finish units • Games and class leaderboards • A searchable glossary, with tap-for-definition terms throughout FOR COLLEGES AND TRAINING PROVIDERS Tutors get a dashboard showing who is engaging and who is falling behind, a class heatmap by assessment criterion, AI insights per learner, shared homework, and printable reports.
